ANNUAL REPORT OF THE ACTIVITIES CHAIRPERSON

It had been both a long & short journey for me on the Activities area for UNWA. Designing activities for a group of several nationalities through years of commitment has always been very challenging for me. It was also a pleasure on my behalf. Meeting vibrant ladies of both UN and non-UN families, trying to please everybody, making exciting city tours, arranging luncheons to cater to spicy & non-spicy taste buds was very exciting. In January I was asked to arrange a mini fashion show as part of the programme for the January General Meeting. Creating something new was always fun. Through tireless efforts, I sincerely managed to sail through.

I always felt motivated to do my bit for UNWA for several years, & also contributed in the past to the UN ball.

I fondly appreciate UNWA President Liti Lissner’s generous support to the activities section. Patsy Lobo’s role on the board & her support had also helped & encouraged me on many occasions. I also thank the executive board members for being together as a team and for their co-operation rendered to me.
