Anowara Ahmed Anowara served as Welfare Committee Chairperson on the previous board. She is a Bangladeshi who has lived for many years abroad with her husband who worked with UNICEF. She has been active in UN women’s groups since 1979 in Ethiopia, the US, China and Japan. She believes the Welfare Committee has done a good job in the past year and looks forward to another successful year with the support of UNWA members. |
