Website – Liti Lissner (Canada) arrived in Dhaka with her teenage son Henrik to join her husband, Jorgen, the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, in the summer of 2000. They have lived in Addis Abeba, Monrovia, New York, Nepal, Vilnius, and Amman as well as in the Philippines, Canada and Denmark. Liti is in communications, and loves to work on the computer, read and write.  She has joined an avid Scrabble group that meets once a week. Liti enjoys painting whenever she has time, and paints with a few ladies who meet at the Canadian Club once a week. 

She joined UNWA, Bangladesh as soon as she arrived and started by working with Jean Sack in Publications (2000) with the layout and design of the newsletter. In May 2001, Liti helped launch the UNWA website. In 2002, she was President p.t. when the President had to leave the country midterm. In 2003 & 2004, she chaired the Nominating Committees and had fun finding old and new talents for the Executive Board. She enjoys being in UNWA, as it has been her community of friends all through the years in all the different countries she has lived in. She looks forward to another year full of new challenges.
