The UNWA web designer is offering a short course on WEB DESIGN & PUBLISHING in September 2001. If you are interested, please e-mail unwaweb@undp.org before the last week of August. In this course we will use the UNWA website to learn more about this very interesting subject, and the group will form our website committee.

The UNWA website keeps undergoing major cosmetic surgery to include much more and make it even more interactive. Visit your website often as it is updated regularly, and click on the new links that are now available:
Executive Board 2001-3 Find out more about your Association by sending a Board member an e-mail. Get to know your Board members by clicking on their names and reading their short biographies.
UNWA Constitution All members should become familiar with the Association’s Constitution.
UNWA Calendar On this calendar are the upcoming UNWA activities that are published in WOMUN each month, or on new activities that come up spontaneously at meetings, or changes in what is published in the newsletter.

Reserve a place in an activity by sending an e-mail to the contact person. It's easy - just a click and an e-mail software opens for you and all you have to do is put the name of the activity on the subject heading, write a note to say you're coming with your name and phone number, and SEND it immediately.

WOMUN The two most recent issues of WOMUN are published on the web at the beginning of the each month, around the same time you receive your hard copies, or even before!  So, don't wait, and don't grumble that you haven't received your copies, don't be late for those interesting activities, and read WOMUN on the Internet.
Settling in Bangladesh You will find a link to this famous guide to newcomers to Bangladesh. Browse through the Table of Contents, and you will understand how wide the scope of this valuable book is. For those who have not yet arrived in the country, you can read all the relevant chapters on-line that are highlighted in yellow. To read all the other chapters, just send in your order and receive your copy when you arrive in Bangladesh! By ordering a copy from abroad, you can be sure that someone from UNWA will come and visit you with your copy during those first confusing weeks in your new home!
Let’s Cook Together with UNWA Browse through the contents, discover the extensive array of rare recipes in this international cookbook, and order the book on-line. Submit your favourite recipes to add to future editions.
UNWA Notice Board post notices, poetry, messages to other UNWA members, and topics for discussion. Don't be shy, you could use a "nickname" for the web (as long as you register your nickname to the Webmaster, so she knows that you're a bonafide member, and she'll be sworn to secrecy on the web!) Visit the page regularly and join or start the forum.
UNWA Trading Post fill in a form with items you would like to sell, buy or trade. This is especially useful for members who are about to leave and have things to sell. You can also post small personal ads. Contact the webmaster for more information on the Notice Board and the Trading Post.
Annual Reports 2000-1 Read the Officers' Annual Reports of the previous Club Year.
Questionnaire The Contact Us for Comments button will take you to a questionnaire that you can fill in with suggestions, comments and other relevant information that UNWA would like to have in order to make a better club for everyone. If you don't want to fill in a form, just click on Submit Articles, Ads, and Notices and write us an e-mail with whatever is on your mind.
