Since its inception in 1975, UNWA has rented out Hospitality (or Emergency) Kits. The purpose of these kits is to provide basic household goods to newcomers while they wait for their shipments to arrive, and to assist families who are about to leave. By last year, most of the items in the kits had become old and rundown, and the kits were no longer "rentable." The kits have now been replaced entirely, with new kitchen utensils and dinner sets, which have the UNWA logo. Members attending the AGM had the opportunity to view the new and attractive Hospitality Kits (pictured right).
