president Tazeen Rehman and the Welfare Committee Chair Anowara Ahmed
presented the Eid Gift Bags to street children attending the ABC School
located in Bashundhara on February 6.
After
saying a few words about UNWA and the gifts, the bags were distributed to
35 children who were at the school on Thursday. The remaining gift bags
were left with the head teacher to distribute to the children who were not
able to attend school that day.
The
children were cheerful and happy to receive the bags. The Chairman of the
School Board of Directors, David Fussell, reiterated the need for
committed volunteers to spend time with the children. If this sounds
