June Monthly Meeting

at the UN Building, IDB Bhaban, Begum Rokeya Sharani, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Agargaon.

Be there at exactly 3 pm to join the tour, or at

3.45 for the business meeting on the 19th floor.

If you are late, please go directly to the conference room on the 19th floor and wait for the tour to end.

PROGRAMME

2:45 – 3 pm:	meet at the lobby downstairs for security clearance and signing-in
3 – 3.45 pm	Ms. Lisa Hiller, UNDP Communications Officer, will take us around the different UN agencies housed in the building, namely: 14th floor – UNIC; 15th floor – UNFPA, UN Staff Dispensary; 16th floor – UNESCO; 17th floor – WFP; 18th & 19th floor – UNDP; and UNRC. This will be a non-stop tour, with a quick introduction to the different heads of agencies on each floor.
3.45 – 4.00 pm	gather at the conference room on the 19th floor for tea/coffee
4:00 - 4:45 pm	UNWA President opens the general meeting with announcements and introduces the Guest Speaker Mr. Morten Giersing, UNICEF Representative.
4.45 – 5:00 pm	the President continues and closes the business meeting

Please confirm your attendance in order to facilitate security clearance for the UN Building.

UN Ball 2003

This year’s UN Ball will be held on Saturday, October 25, at the Sonargaon Hotel.
