Hello to:

Pauline Bottrill, who is from Britain and the US. Her husband works with the World Bank. Pauline has already jumped in with both feet and taken on the job as UNWA secretary. She has three grown children and is interested in art and textiles.

Martina Doolan, who is from Ireland and recently migrated to Australia. Her husband works for FAO. She has lived in Kenya, Pakistan and Samoa. Martina has worked as a personal assistant in Dublin and with the ILO in Pakistan. She has four children and her hobbies include reading, childcare and development, poetry and swimming.

Goodbye to:

Dammi Holbourne, who served as UNWA’s secretary in 2003. She was an enthusiastic supporter and participant in UNWA activities. Dammi left Bangladesh in December to live in France, where her two daughters are going to school.
