Smriti Memory Book
captures spirit of the Cholera Research Laboratory
A new 140-page book, published by the 25th Anniversary Committee at ICDDR,B

tells Bangla and English stories with historical photographs

about the lives of expatriate and Bengali employees

who saved thousands of lives in the Cholera Hospital,

devised the world-famous Oral Rehydration Solution,

tested vaccines and other interventions,

pioneered the Matlab field surveillance, and

shared a rare research camaraderie with each other since 1960.
